Drowning can occur in pools, lakes, oceans, rivers, bath tubs, ponds, hot tubs, and canals- basically any body of water!
But Drowning is PREVENTABLE!!
How?? Evidence-based drowning prevention strategies from the American Academy of Pediatrics:
1) Barriers
2) Supervision
3) Swim Lessons
