The Season of Giving Has Arrived!

Florida Swim School has begun the Annual Toys for Tots Donations.

Anyone may donate toys at Florida Swim School.

We will be closed the following days for Thanksgiving:
Wednesday, November 21
Thursday, November 22
Friday, November 23
You were not charged for these days so make ups are not needed.

Thank you for the referrals!  We have many new families at Florida Swim School.  Please remember to have those you have referred tell us that you told them about Florida Swim School so that you receive $25 credit.  Referrals must sign up monthly to earn credit.

The teachers are excited to see the progress of the swimmers.  Some have already graduated to the competitive team at Saint Andrew’s Aquatics.

Question:
What is my child learning?  It seems that they are doing the same skills at each class.
Answer:
Your child is learning proper swimming by practicing many skills that promote correct body alignment that will allow for more effective swimming, thereby exerting the least amount of energy while swimming.  Since there are so many skills to learn proper swimming, they must be repeated often.  Even when new skills are introduced, previous skills will still be practiced.  This practicing will result in the skills becoming easier to demonstrate due to muscle memory.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s was a success!
